Ivaros is committed to making ivarospet.com usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition, and keyboard only navigation.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and are the standard most often referenced by US regulators and courts.

What we do

  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text and buttons are checked against the WCAG minimums for color contrast.
  • Every page starts with a skip link and shows a visible focus indicator. The menus, search, product options, image gallery, FAQs, and cart are built to work with a keyboard alone.
  • Pages use headings, landmarks, and labels so screen readers can move through them in order.
  • Pages reflow on small screens, and zoom is never blocked.
  • The scrolling banner stops when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • When we publish video, we provide captions.

How we test

We test our pages with automated tools and manual keyboard checks before launch and after significant changes. Our most recent review was completed on October 7, 2026, and covered our main page types at desktop and mobile sizes. We carried out this review ourselves. We review this Statement and our testing at least once a year.

Compatibility

ivarospet.com is built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA. It is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and with the assistive technologies those browsers support.

Known limitations

ivarospet.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means some parts of the site do not yet fully conform:

  • Checkout and customer accounts are hosted by Shopify. Product reviews, subscription management, and our email signup form are provided by third party apps. We choose providers with accessibility in mind and report issues to them, but we do not control their code.
  • The scrolling banner does not have a pause button. It stops when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • We have not yet tested every page with every combination of screen reader and browser.
