Part A: Privacy Policy

Quick summary

We sell dog supplements online to customers in the United States. We collect the information you give us (like your name, address, email, phone, and what you tell us about your dog), information generated when you shop (orders, payments, subscription status), and information collected automatically by cookies and similar technologies (device, browsing, and interaction data). We use it to fill orders, run subscriptions, provide customer service, send communications you have agreed to, prevent fraud, improve the Site, and advertise. We use advertising and analytics partners, including Meta and Google, which under some state laws is considered "selling" or "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page, by turning on the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, or by declining non essential cookies in our banner. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not sell your information for money.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, postal address, phone number.
  • Account information: login credentials, order history, saved addresses, and communication preferences.
  • Order and payment information: items purchased, subscription selections, billing address, and payment card details. Card numbers are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and similar). We receive only a token, card type, the last four digits, and the expiration date.
  • Information about your dog: name, breed, age, weight, and the goals or concerns you tell us about (for example, "joint stiffness" or "seasonal itching") when you fill out a quiz, a form, a review, or a chat. This is information about your pet, not a health record about you.
  • Communications: the contents of emails, chats, texts, phone calls, reviews, survey responses, and social media messages you send us.
  • Program enrollments: loyalty, referral, email, and text program preferences and activity.

Information we collect automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • Device and connection data: IP address, general location derived from IP address (city or region), device type, operating system, browser type and settings, language, screen size, and mobile advertising or device identifiers.
  • Usage and interaction data: pages viewed, products viewed, items added to cart, searches, referring and exit pages, links clicked, time on page, scroll depth, mouse movements, and clicks and taps. Some of this is collected by session replay and heatmap tools that reconstruct how you moved through a page. These tools are configured to mask payment fields and password fields.
  • Chat data: if you use our live chat or chatbot, the content of the conversation, the pages you were on, and technical data about your session are collected and stored by us and by the chat provider.
  • Advertising data: identifiers and events (such as page view, add to cart, and purchase) collected by advertising pixels and server side connections so that we and our advertising partners can measure and target ads.
  • Email and text engagement: whether you opened or clicked a message, and the device used.

Details of the specific technologies and providers are in our Cookie and Tracking Policy (Part B).

Information from other sources

  • Shipping carriers and our fulfillment partners (delivery status, address corrections).
  • Payment processors and fraud prevention services (payment confirmation, fraud risk scores).
  • Advertising and analytics partners (aggregated campaign performance, and matched audience data if you have an account with them).
  • Social media platforms, when you interact with our content or tag us.
  • Public sources and data hygiene providers (address standardization).

2. How we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To process and deliver your orders, manage your subscriptions, process payments and refunds, and provide customer service.
  • To send transactional messages: order and shipping confirmations, subscription acknowledgments, renewal reminders, price change notices, and account or security notices.
  • To send marketing emails and texts you have consented to receive, and to personalize the offers and content we show you.
  • To operate our loyalty, referral, and review programs.
  • To measure, improve, and troubleshoot the Site, our products, and our marketing, including through analytics, A/B testing, and session replay.
  • To advertise our products on other websites, apps, and platforms, and to measure whether those ads work.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, chargebacks, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, and protect the rights and safety of Ivaros, our customers, and the public.
  • For product safety purposes, including handling adverse event reports and recalls.
  • With your consent, for any other purpose we describe to you at the time of collection.

We may create de identified or aggregated data from personal information and use it for any lawful purpose. Where we treat data as de identified, we maintain and use it in de identified form and do not attempt to re identify it except to test that our de identification works.

3. How we disclose information

Service providers and contractors. We share personal information with companies that provide services to us under contracts that restrict how they may use it. These include our e commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, fulfillment and warehousing partners, shipping carriers, email and text messaging platform (Klaviyo), subscription management (Appstle), review platform (Judge.me), loyalty program provider, consent management provider, customer support and chat provider, session replay and analytics tools, cloud hosting, accounting, and fraud prevention services.

Advertising and analytics partners ("sale" or "sharing"). We allow advertising and analytics companies, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), and our server side tracking provider, to collect identifiers, device data, and activity data on the Site through cookies, pixels, and server side connections, and we may upload hashed email addresses or phone numbers to these partners to build or exclude advertising audiences. These partners use the information to serve you our ads on other sites and apps, to measure ad performance, and for their own purposes as described in their privacy policies. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and some other state laws, this activity is considered "selling" personal information or "sharing" it for cross context behavioral advertising. We do not exchange your personal information for money. You can opt out as described in Section 6 and on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Affiliates and business transfers. We may share information with entities under common ownership with Ivaros, and with a buyer, investor, or successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; to cooperate with regulators, including in connection with product safety; to enforce our Terms; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ivaros, our customers, or others.

With your direction or consent. For example, when you post a review that is displayed publicly, refer a friend, or ask us to share information with someone.

We do not share your mobile phone number or text messaging opt in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. See Section 8.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits, session replay scripts, and server side connections to collect the automatically collected information described above. Some are strictly necessary for the Site to work (for example, keeping items in your cart and completing checkout); others are used for analytics, functionality, and advertising. Our Cookie and Tracking Policy (Part B) lists the categories and providers we use and explains how to manage them through our cookie banner, your browser settings, the Global Privacy Control signal, and the opt out tools offered by our partners. Where required by law, we do not set non essential cookies or load advertising pixels until you have accepted them.

5. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy and as required by law. In general: order, payment, tax, and subscription records are kept for 7 years after the transaction to meet tax and accounting obligations; subscription consent records are kept for at least 3 years after your subscription ends; account information is kept while your account is active and for 3 years after your last order unless you ask us to delete it sooner; marketing consent and communications are kept until you unsubscribe and for a reasonable period thereafter to document your choice; chat transcripts and support tickets are kept for 3 years; session replay recordings are kept for no more than 90 days; text message consent records are kept for 5 years after the last message we send you; cookie consent records are kept for 24 months; analytics data is kept for up to 26 months in identifiable form; and product safety and adverse event records are kept for as long as required by applicable regulation. When we no longer need information, we delete or de identify it.

6. Your choices

Marketing email. Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or email care@ivarospet.com. You will still receive transactional messages about your orders and subscriptions.

Text messages. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or use any other reasonable method (for example, replying "unsubscribe" or emailing care@ivarospet.com). See our Mobile Messaging Terms.

Cookies and pixels. Use the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer to change your cookie choices at any time, or use your browser settings. Turning on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in a supported browser or extension automatically opts you out of the sale and sharing of personal information collected on that browser.

Targeted advertising and sale or sharing. Visit Your Privacy Choices to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, including offline sharing such as uploading hashed emails to advertising partners. You may also opt out of interest based advertising generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org, and through your Meta and Google ad settings.

Account information. Log in to your account to update your details, or email care@ivarospet.com.

Do Not Track. Browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting, but there is no accepted standard for it and we do not respond to it. We do respond to the Global Privacy Control signal as described above.

7. Your privacy rights under US state laws

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to legal limits and verification:

  • Right to know and access the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories and specific pieces, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to which it was disclosed, sold, or shared, and to receive a portable copy.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions (for example, to complete a transaction, comply with legal obligations, or prevent fraud).
  • Right to opt out of the sale of personal information, of the sharing of personal information for cross context behavioral (targeted) advertising, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not engage in that kind of profiling.
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law without your consent.
  • Right to non discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your rights. Our loyalty and discount programs are financial incentives that we describe in our Notice of Financial Incentive (Part C); you may leave them at any time.
  • Right to appeal. If we decline your request, residents of states that provide an appeal right may appeal by replying to our decision email with the word "Appeal" or emailing privacy@ivarospet.com. We will respond within the time required by your state's law, and if we deny your appeal we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

How to submit a request. Email privacy@ivarospet.com or use the form on our Your Privacy Choices page. Please tell us which right you are exercising and the state where you live.

Verification. For access, correction, and deletion requests we must verify your identity. We will match the information you provide (typically your name, email address, and a recent order number or shipping address) to the information in our records, and may email a one time code to the address on file. We will not require you to create an account. For requests seeking specific pieces of information, we may require additional verification. Opt out requests do not require verification, but we may ask for enough information to locate you in our systems.

Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide your signed written permission (or a power of attorney), and we may still ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.

Timing. We will confirm receipt of access, correction, and deletion requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, extendable once by another 45 days with notice. We will process opt out requests within 15 business days and tell any third party to which we sold or shared your information during that period to stop using it.

Washington residents

Ivaros sells products for dogs. We do not collect "consumer health data" about you within the meaning of the Washington My Health My Data Act, and we do not infer your health status from your purchases. Information you share about your dog's health is information about your pet. Please see our Consumer Health Data Statement (Part D) for more detail. 8. Text messaging

If you enroll in our text message program, we collect your mobile number, the consent record (date, time, source, and the disclosure you saw), your carrier, and message engagement. We use this information to send you the messages you signed up for and to comply with law. We will not share your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt in consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (for example, Klaviyo and its carrier aggregators) and as required by law. Our Mobile Messaging Terms describe the program, message frequency, and how to opt out.

9. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@ivarospet.com and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), tokenized payment processing through PCI DSS compliant processors, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.

11. Visitors from outside the United States

We sell and ship only within the United States and do not direct our products or marketing to persons in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other countries. If you nonetheless access the Site from one of those places, our consent banner will not set non essential cookies or load advertising or analytics technologies until you accept them, and the following applies to the extent the General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies to you:

  • Controller. Ivaros LLC, 3916 N. Potsdam Ave #4118, Sioux Falls, SD 57104, USA, privacy@ivarospet.com.
  • Legal bases. We process personal data to perform a contract with you (orders, accounts), based on your consent (non essential cookies, marketing emails and texts), for our legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, analytics that you have consented to at the cookie level, responding to your inquiries, defending legal claims), and to comply with legal obligations.
  • Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Contact privacy@ivarospet.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
  • International transfers. Your data is processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and, where a provider is certified, the EU U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with a new "Last updated" date and, where changes are material, will notify you by email or a notice on the Site before they take effect. We review this Policy at least once every 12 months.

If you have a disability and need this Policy in an alternative format, contact us at the address above and we will provide it.

This Policy explains the cookies, pixels, and similar technologies used on ivarospet.com, who operates them, what they collect, and how to control them. It is Part B of our Privacy Policy. You can change your choices at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer of every page.

1. What these technologies are

  • Cookies are small text files stored on your device. First party cookies are set by ivarospet.com; third party cookies are set by other companies whose code runs on our pages.
  • Pixels and tags are small pieces of code or invisible images that tell a company when you loaded a page or took an action (for example, "added to cart").
  • Server side connections send the same kinds of events from our server, rather than your browser, to a partner such as Meta or Google. Because they run on our server, browser cookie blocking alone does not stop them; our consent banner does.
  • Local storage holds data in your browser similar to cookies.
  • Session replay and heatmap scripts record your mouse movements, clicks, taps, scrolling, and keystrokes in non sensitive fields, so that we can view a reconstruction of how visitors use a page. Payment and password fields are masked.
  • Chat scripts power our live chat and chatbot and record the conversation, the pages you visited, and technical details about your session.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function: shopping cart, checkout, login, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off in our banner because the Site would not work without them. Providers: Shopify (including Shopify Payments and Shop Pay), our consent management platform (Pandectes), Appstle (subscription checkout functions), Cloudflare or equivalent security services.

Functional. Remember your preferences and enable features such as reviews, FAQs, loyalty widgets, product recommendations, Instagram feeds, and live chat. Providers: Judge.me (reviews), BON Loyalty (loyalty and referral), Selleasy (recommendations), Corner FAQ and Shopify Knowledge Base, Instafeed (Instagram content), [CHAT PROVIDER, e.g., Shopify Inbox or Gorgias] (live chat and chatbot). If you decline functional cookies, chat and some widgets may not load.

Analytics and performance. Help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Providers: Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), Shopify Analytics, [SESSION REPLAY PROVIDER, e.g., Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar] (session replay and heatmaps), TrueROAS (attribution and analytics, first party and server side). Google Analytics data is IP truncated where the setting is available and retained for no more than 26 months.

Advertising. Used by us and our advertising partners to show you our ads on other sites and apps, limit how often you see an ad, build audiences of people similar to our customers, and measure whether ads led to visits or purchases. Providers: Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, for Facebook and Instagram ads), Google LLC (Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing), [TIKTOK / PINTEREST / OTHER, IF USED], TrueROAS (server side event forwarding to these partners), Klaviyo (email and text engagement tracking and on site behavior tied to your subscriber profile). These technologies collect identifiers, IP address, device information, the pages and products you view, cart events, and purchases, and may match them with the partner's own records if you have an account with that partner. This activity is a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California and some other state laws, and you may opt out as described under "Your choices" below.

4. Your choices

Our cookie banner. On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all, reject all non essential technologies, or choose categories. The "Reject" and "Accept" options are equally prominent. We do not load analytics, advertising, session replay, or chat technologies until you have made a choice, and closing the banner without choosing is treated as a rejection of non essential technologies. You can revisit your choices any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information collected through that browser, and we disable advertising technologies accordingly. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent checkout from working.

Partner opt outs. Meta: facebook.com/adpreferences. Google: adssettings.google.com and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Industry tools: optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Mobile devices: use the advertising settings in iOS or Android.

Chat. If you do not want the contents of a chat recorded and shared with our chat provider, do not use the chat feature; email care@ivarospet.com instead.

Offline sharing. Cookie choices do not stop us from uploading hashed email addresses to advertising partners to reach existing customers. To opt out of that, use the form on Your Privacy Choices.

5. Changes

We update this Policy when we add or remove providers. The live provider list in Cookie Settings is authoritative. Questions: privacy@ivarospet.com.

Part C: Notice of Financial Incentive

Some of our programs give you a discount, points, or other benefit in exchange for personal information or for staying in a program that uses your personal information. California law calls these "financial incentives" and requires this notice. Participation is always optional, you can opt in only by taking an affirmative step, and you can leave any program at any time without penalty.

Programs covered

1. Welcome offer (email signup). When you enter your email address (and, optionally, your mobile number) in our welcome popup or footer form, you receive a one time discount code worth 25% off your first order. We collect your email address, optional phone number, signup date, source, and subsequent email and text engagement, and we use it to send you marketing you have consented to and to personalize offers.

2. Text message signup offer. When you separately consent to receive marketing texts, you may receive an additional one time discount or early access to promotions. We collect your mobile number, consent record, carrier, and message engagement.

3. Ivaros Rewards (loyalty program). Members earn points for purchases, account creation, birthdays (of your dog), social follows, and other actions, and redeem points for discounts. We collect your name, email, purchase history, points activity, referral activity, and any profile details you add (such as your dog's name and birthday).

4. Refer a Friend. When you share your referral link and a friend makes a first purchase, both of you receive a reward. We collect your email and the friend's email, plus the referral and purchase records needed to issue rewards.

5. Review incentives (if offered). From time to time we may offer points or a discount for leaving a review of a product you purchased. The incentive is the same whether your review is positive or negative, and reviews written for an incentive are labeled as such. We collect the review content, your name or initials, and the order it relates to.

How to opt in and how to withdraw

You opt in by completing the signup form, checking the consent box, creating a rewards account, or sharing a referral link. You can withdraw at any time: unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message; reply STOP to any text; email care@ivarospet.com to close your rewards account or delete your data; or stop sharing your referral link. Withdrawing ends future benefits from that program but does not affect discounts you have already received or purchases you have already made.

Why the incentive is permitted and how we value your data

We offer these incentives because customers who join our programs are more likely to purchase again, which lowers our marketing cost and lets us reinvest in product quality. The value of a participant's personal information to us is reasonably related to the value of the discount or reward. We estimate that value by comparing the expected additional revenue, net of product and fulfillment cost, from a program member over 12 months with that of a non member, less the cost of the discounts and rewards issued. Based on our current planning assumptions, we estimate the value of a subscriber's or member's personal information to Ivaros at approximately the value of the discount or reward offered, in the range of $[X] to $[Y] per year per participant. This is a good faith estimate that will be updated as we gather actual data.

Non discrimination

We will never deny you products, charge you a different price, or provide lower quality because you decline to join a program or exercise a privacy right. The only difference is that you will not receive the program's discount or rewards.

Part D: Consumer Health Data Statement

Ivaros sells supplements for dogs. Our website and programs are designed to collect information about you as a shopper and about your dog as a pet. We do not collect, use, share, or sell "consumer health data" about you within the meaning of the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373), the Nevada consumer health data law (SB 370), or similar laws.

In particular:

  • We do not ask about, and we do not attempt to infer, your own physical or mental health status, conditions, treatments, medications, or health related purchases.
  • The information you share about your dog (for example, "my dog has stiff hips" or "she itches in the spring") describes your pet, not you. We use it to recommend a product and to personalize our communications about your dog.
  • We do not build advertising audiences or email segments based on any human health condition, and we do not purchase health related data about you from anyone.
  • We do not use geofencing around any health care facility.

If you believe that we have collected information that reveals your own health status, please contact us at privacy@ivarospet.com. We will review the information, treat your request under the applicable consumer health data law, and delete the information unless we are legally required to keep it.

Our general privacy practices, including your rights and how to exercise them, are described in our Privacy Policy (Part A above).
